A vehicle crashed into a power pole in Malibu, which left two people injured, and forced the closure of a road in nearby Agoura Hills for least 10 hours, authorities said Sunday.
Deputies were dispatched at 11:30 p.m. Saturday to a crash in the area of Malibu Knolls and Malibu Canyon roads, where a vehicle struck a power pole, according to a watch sergeant at the sheriff’s Lost Hills/Malibu station.
Paramedics transported two people to UCLA Medical Center, he said. Their conditions were not known.
At 6:53 a.m. Sunday, the California Highway Patrol issued a traffic advisory shutting down Las Virgenes Road in Agoura Hills, from Piuma Road to Malibu Canyon Road, until 5 p.m., in connection with the collision.
