The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services circulated a photo Monday of a man admitted to a hospital after being found unresponsive in Hawthorne on Christmas Eve, and asked for help identifying him.

The man, believed to be in his early to mid-20s, was found late Thursday lying in the middle of the street at 118th Street and Hawthorne Boulevard, with his skateboard nearby, according to DHS officials, who said it appeared he had been hit by a vehicle.

The man, who was not carrying any identification, was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.

He is described as Latino, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 140 pounds, with a thin to regular build, black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He has multiple tattoos, including the words “love” and “justice” on his wrists and a dragon or serpent on his right arm.

Anyone with information that can help identify the man was asked to call the hospital at 424-306-6310.
