The Desert Hot Springs Classical Concerts will conclude its 10th anniversary season Thursday with a performance at Desert Hot Springs High School.
The series will close out at 7 p.m. with the Wisconsin Wind Orchestra’s “Play of the Imagination” program at school’s theater, 65850 Pierson Blvd., organizers said. The program encourages listeners to engage their imagination through music and titles.
“This has been our most ambitious concert season to date, and it’s been amazing to see the outpouring of enthusiasm and support from the community for these concerts,” series Founder & Artistic Director Danny Holt said in a statement.
On Sunday, Holt performed his new album with guest violinist Molly Gebrian in Grace Church, located at 17400 Bubbling Wells Road. The album, “Trailblazers,” spotlights sonatas by Henriette Bosmans, Ethel Smyth and Dora Pejacevic from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
