The Palm Springs Unified School District announced a new policy Thursday to provide free meals for school children during the 2024-25 school year.
Students at 30 elementary, middle and high schools will be able to receive breakfast and lunch free of charge, the District said in a statement.
The decision was made possible under the National School Lunch/School Breakfast Programs.
