A non-injury fire broke out at a single-family home in Pacific Palisades Friday.
The fire was reported at 12:40 p.m. Friday at 1459 Chastain Parkway West, in a neighborhood just north of Palisades Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Crews encountered flames coming from the second floor.
Thirty-three firefighters responded and put out the blaze in just under an hour, containing the flames to a single second-floor room, a department spokeswoman said.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
