A brushfire that burned 15 acres of vegetation east of Corona is out Monday, but the cause remained unknown.
The fire was reported around 2:50 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Eagle Canyon and Cajalco Roads, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. It was burning at a slow-to-moderate rate of speed.
Multiple air and ground resources were at the scene and fully contained the fire around 4:55 p.m.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
No injuries were immediately reported.
