Donald Trump joined the chorus commenting on Kanye West’s declaration Sunday that he’ll run for president in 2020. Serious or not, the rapper got the Donald’s attention with his remark at the MTV Video Music Awards.

“I don’t know what I stand to lose after this,” West said in accepting the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. “It don’t matter though, because it ain’t about me; it’s about new ideas, bro, new ideas. People with ideas, people who believe in truth. And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president.”

A Twitter account devoted to a President West went wild. And social media weighed in.

The Kardashian/Jenner clan, called this generation’s Kennedys, by one telling, cheered their in-law.
