Former child actress Kim Richards pleaded no contest Monday to resisting a peace officer who tried to escort “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” cast member from the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Richards, who turns 51 on Saturday, was sentenced to three years probation and was ordered to attend 52 weeks of alcohol treatment classes and complete 30 days of community labor.
Richards, who did not appear in court for Monday’s hearing, was also ordered to stay away from the Beverly Hills Hotel and to pay restitution.
A restitution hearing is set for Dec. 14 to determine the amount.
The plea deal struck with prosecutors allows Richards — who had also been facing misdemeanor charges of public intoxication and battery on a peace officer — to avoid any additional jail time.
TMZ reported that Richards’ attorney had tried to negotiate community service instead of community labor for the 1970s child star, who he said has a foot injury.
Richards, whose struggle with sobriety has been documented on the Bravo series, was arrested April 16 after she refused to leave the Polo Lounge.
She was arrested again on Aug. 2 and jailed overnight on suspicion of shoplifting $600 in merchandise from a Target store in Van Nuys.
