Don’t call me Bruce; Caitlyn Jenner files for name change

Bruce Jenner is almost history — as the legal name for the Olympic decathlon champion and now reality star Caitlyn Jenner.

On Tuesday, Jenner, 65, filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court to be legally declared a woman, according to media reports. She also seeks to legally change her name from Bruce to Caitlyn.

The filing, first reported by TMZ is “under submission” with a judge in Santa Monica, sources said, because Jenner has asked to keep much of her personal information private thanks to “various threats she received,” said one report.

Caitlyn Jenner has filed legal documents for an official name and gender change. We may assume they are still reviewing the briefs.
