He rose to fame as Jesse Pinkman in AMC’s “Breaking Bad,” but Aaron Paul spent most of his morning Tuesday in a room for prospective jurors in the civil courthouse downtown.
Paul, 36, was dressed in dark clothes and a green beanie as he sat with his legs crossed at the end of an aisle in the large second-floor room where prospective jurors await their call for service.
He passed the time peering at his cell phone, signing an autograph for a female security officer and letting out a long yawn at one point.
Some critics called “Breaking Bad” the finest television shows ever. It aired from January 2008 to September 2013 and featured Paul as the former student of a cancer-stricken chemistry teacher — played by Bryan Cranston — who resorts to making methamphetamine to pay his medical bills and support his family.
Paul won several awards, including the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor.
