Would Claude Rains approve? In 1933, Rains played the iconic “Invisible Man.” Now Johnny Depp is set to recreate the role in a Universal Pictures version produced by Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan.
“In the original, Rains played a chemist who uses a dangerous drug to turn invisible. The transformation leaves him jealous, paranoid and psychotic and leads to a killing spree. The movie spawned several sequels.”
Tom Cruise already is set to star in Univrsal’s reboot of “The Mummy,” which had social media crying Mommy.
