As a GOP presidential candidate, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee echoed Donald Trump. At a San Diego border appearance, Huckabee said of undocumented immigrants:

“They’re not coming to make beds and pick tomatoes. They’re coming to sell drugs. They’re coming to commit crime and to bring the mayhem that they have in their hearts upon the American people.”

On Wednesday, Huckabee on “Fox & Friends” praised Trump’s “peaceful revolution” and added: “The establishment Republicans are all bedwetting over this, but they don’t seem to understand that we have an election. I just believe that at some point we need to recognize that if you want to oppose Donald Trump, do it, but don’t pretend that somehow all these voters who have gone out and voted for him are stupid.

“They’re not stupid. I’ll tell you what they are — they’re angry at the very establishment that is going nuts because Donald Trump is doing so well.”

So the GOP should accept Trump as the party’s nominee, he suggested. So now do we have a race between Trump-endorser Chris Christie and Huckabee?
