Trying to keep out of the news for the Kardashian clan is like saying it always snows in Los Angeles.
Today’s tidbit about the ubiquitous reality family is — wait for it — Kourtney Kardashian and her ex Scott Disick are a couple again.
But before you get all excited, here’s the skinny:
The 36-year-old “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star shared a Snapchat video with her fans, featuring her 32-year-old ex baby daddy, Disick. In the video, the estranged couple are sitting side-by-side, when Disick decides to make an announcement.
“So umm, we wanted you guys to hear it first,” he says to the camera. “We are getting back together.” Before the end of the 10-second clip, Scott leans in to plant a kiss on Kardashian who leans away and laughs, “No!”
But sorry folks, they are not together in the sense of being together. The couple who called off their relationship in July, following Disick’s continuous trouble with alcohol, are only planning on being together as parents.
They have three kids: Mason, 6, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 1, and decided while they are no longer romantically involved, they will be around for their children.
They broke up after almost 10 years of dating.
As for Kardashian she said of her new status with her ex on a recent “Ellen DeGeneres Show:” “I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along,” she shared in her first post-breakup interview. “Like, we have three beautiful kids together… But, you know, he’s family. He’ll always be.”
