Tony Visconti has learned not to tug on Superwoman’s cape. The music producer has taken back his comments that Adele’s voice was manipulated in her recordings.

During a June 9 show in Paris, she said: “Some dickhead tried to say that my voice was not me on record,” referring to David Bowie producer Visconti.

Adele responded: “Dude, suck my d–k.”

But as the National Post reported Monday: “Quickly eating his words and finding himself in a room of one, Visconti recanted his statement, telling Billboard, ‘I’m sorry that what I said in regards to what’s being played on radio was misconstrued, yet I cannot apologize for something taken the wrong way. If Adele has taken my comments as offensive that was certainly not my intent.’

“Adele has a great voice and it brings pleasure to millions.”
