Suicide Squad” held onto its spot atop the North American box office this weekend, taking in $43.7 million in its second weekend of release, according to estimated figures released today by comScore.

The animated comedy “Sausage Party” took the second spot, earning $33.6 million in its debut weekend in theaters in the United States and Canada.

In third place was “Pete’s Dragon” — also in its first weekend of release — with $21.5 million.

“Jason Bourne” was fourth with $13.6 million, while “Bad Moms” was fifth with $11.4 million. Both of those films were in their third weekend of release.

Rounding out the top 10 were “The Secret Life of Pets” with $8.8 million, “Star Trek Beyond” with $6.8 million, “Florence Foster Jenkins” with $6.5 million, “Nine Lives” with $3.5 million and “Lights Out” with $3.2 million.
