
Judging by voter turnouts, millions of Americans don’t care if elections are rigged. But heaven forbid it be suggested that the Emmys are.
At Wednesday night’s debate, Hillary Clinton said of Donald Trump: “There was even a time when he didn’t get an Emmy for his TV program three years in a row, and he started tweeting that the Emmys were rigged against him.”
Trump interjected (to audience laughter): “Should’ve gotten it.”

But the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences didn’t consider the issue funny. It tweeted: “#Emmys are not rigged.”
