The Directors Guild of America Friday announced that it has reached a tentative agreement on a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
Terms of the agreement will be released after it has been submitted to the guild’s National Board for approval at a special board meeting, according to Lily Bedrossian of the DGA.
Negotiations began on Dec. 5 and concluded Friday, Bedrossian said. The DGA’s negotiating team was led by its chief negotiator, National Executive Director Jay D. Roth, and Negotiations Committee Co-Chairs Michael Apted and Thomas Schlamme.
The DGA’s current contracts expire on June 30.
