He can bomb Syria and talk about grabbing women, but can President Trump read the executive orders he signs?
That question can seriously be raised after a Brooklyn Magazine interview with former “Saturday Night Live” star (and Trump impersonator) Taran Killam.
The GOP candidate, who hosted “SNL” in November 2015, “struggled to read at the table read, which did not give many of us great confidence,” Killam told Evan Romano. “Didn’t get the jokes, really. He’s just a man who seems to be powered by bluster.”
Killam says the New York tycoon’s visit “was not fun.”
“Most of the cast and writers were not excited to have him there,” he said. “I didn’t get the feeling that he was excited to be there, and it felt like a move for ratings from both sides.
“He was … everything you see. What you see is what you get with him, really. I mean, there was no big reveal.”
Huffington Post recalled that shortly after Trump’s ‘SNL’ episode, cast member Pete Davidson told Opie Radio that the president “doesn’t really know how to read.”
Could that be Ivanka’s role?
