Tomi Lahren, the 25-year-old Fox News firebrand, is being branded a scofflaw for wearing the flag as a Halloween costume.
On Instagram, Lahren shared a picture and said: “Oh LA get ready to find your safe spaces! What am I? Well if you’re a conservative, I’m American AF (as f—k). If you’re a lib, I’m ‘offensive.’ Let’s go.”

But on Twitter, she’s being torn apart for violating the U.S. code where it says: “No part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform.”
On Sunday, Lahren responded: “Unless an article of clothing is made from an actual United States flag, there is no breach of flag etiquette whatsoever.”
