According to celebritybeliefs.com, one-time Angeleno Meghan Trainor “has no desire to be involved in the nation’s politics.”
She is now — via a Randy Rainbow parody of Trainor’s 2014 megahit “All About That Bass.”
This time, Rainbow scores with his latest anti-Trump anthem “All About His Base,” posted Monday — the eve of the State of the Union address.
A day later, it had 47,000 views — far behind the 2.17 billion views of the original Trainor tune.
Rainbow’s version is about the president appealing to a minority core of supporters “and his own self-dealings,” noted chortle.com.
“Lyrics include: ‘He’s bringing stupid back. He’s an unmanageable maniac. He likes the dummies who don’t give him flak. ‘Cause they’re his base and they’ll believe whatever comes out of that s—-hole on his face.”
Celebritybeliefs added in 2016: “When asked about Clinton or Trump, [Trainor] insinuated she would vote for Clinton, then expressed that she didn’t plan on voting and never had.”
The votes are in for Rainbow, however:
“You probably don’t realize how much you’ve helped me through this dark time in America,” Dee Herrera wrote Rainbow on YouTube.com. “Each time I feel that we’ve hit rock bottom and that my faith has been completely shattered in human nature, you pick me back up.”
Caneel C wrote: “Randy Rainbow never disappoints… I was about to have a bad afternoon and then I saw this masterpiece!! :>”
And J.D. Black posted: “Randy, it’s people like you that make our country GREAT! Imagine how this would play out in Russia: an openly gay comedian absolutely destroying the head of state. There, you’d vanish in the night.”
