NBC announced Saturday it will air an edition of its perennial summer ratings powerhouse “America’s Got Talent” during the official television season for the first time this winter with “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.”

“America’s Got Talent: The Champions” will bring back the most talented and memorable acts from the various editions of “Got Talent” worldwide to compete against one another.

Simon Cowell, the creator of “America’s Got Talent” and one of its judges since 2016, will be among the judges. The others were not announced.

“For more than a decade, the `Got Talent’ format has been the world’s foremost platform for discovering the most entertaining and innovative acts,” said Jennifer Mullin, CEO of FremantleMedia North America, which produces “America’s Got Talent.” “AGT: The Champions’ will be a true celebration of culture and diversity.”

NBC also announced it has ordered a 22-episode sixth season of the crime drama “The Blacklist.”

NBC plans to unveil its fall schedule Sunday.
