“Joker,” “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and “The Irishman” are among the films that will compete Saturday evening for the Art Directors Guild’s 24th annual awards honoring production design.

Production designers for the three films were nominated in the period film category, along with “Ford v Ferrari,” “Jojo Rabbit” and “1917.”

Among fantasy films, nominees are “Ad Astra,” “Aladdin,” “Avengers: Endgame,” “Dumbo,” “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” Nominated among contemporary films are production designers for “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum,” “Knives Out,” “Parasite” and “Us.”

The Excellence in Production Design Awards will be presented at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown.

During the ceremony, television producer/writer/director Chuck Lorre will receive the guild’s Cinematic Imagery Award.

“Chuck Lorre is one of television’s most prolific and successful writers/directors/producers. his impact on the television comedy landscape has been tremendous, with shows such as `The Big Bang Theory,’ `Two and a Half Men,’ `Mom’ and most recently, `The Kominsky Method,”’ ADG President Nelson Coates and ADG Awards Producer Scott Moses said in a joint statement.
