“The Queen’s Gambit” was the most-watched program for the second time in the two full weeks it was available among programming on the four streaming services measured in the latest weekly report from Nielsen released Thursday.
Viewers watched 1.455 billion minutes of seven-episode Netflix miniseries between Nov. 2-8. The 2005-13 NBC comedy “The Office” was second for the third consecutive week, with 1.093 billion minutes watched of its 192 episodes.
“The Mandalorian” was third for the second consecutive week, with 955 million minutes for its 10 episodes, including the second episode of its second season, which became available Nov. 6.
The Disney+ “Star Wars” series was the only non-Netflix programming in the top 10 for the second consecutive week.
The two programs in the top 10 not in the previous week’s was the NBC crime thriller “The Blacklist,” ninth, with viewers watching 417 million minutes of its 152 episodes, and the 2014-20 CW post-apocalyptic science fiction drama, “The 100,” 10th, with 407 million minutes watched of its 100 episodes.
The top 10 consisted of two original streaming programs, seven programs that originally aired on North American broadcast networks and the British import, “The Great British Baking Show.”
