“The Unforgivable ” was last week’s most-watched English-language film on Netflix in its first three days of release while the third season of “Lost In Space” was the top English-language television program for the second consecutive week, according to figures released Tuesday by the streaming service.

Viewers spent 85.86 million hours watching the Sandra Bullock-starring post-incarceration drama. “Red Notice” rose one spot to second with 18.01 million hours watched between Dec. 6 and Sunday, its fifth week of release. Viewership for the action comedy dropped 29.1% from the 25.4 million hours watched the previous week.

“Red Notice” has been watched for a record 372.21 million hours in its 31 days of release.

There were two other newcomers to the top 10 in addition to “The Unforgivable.” The animated comedy “Back to the Outback” was third with 16.17 million hours watched in its first three days of release. The action thriller “Redemption Day” was eighth with 9.79 million hours watched.

The previous week’s leader, “The Power of the Dog,” dropped to fourth with 13.28 million hours watched, 51.2% less than the 27.2 million hours watched in the first four days the Jane Campion-directed psychological thriller was available.

Dropping out of the top 10 were the mountain climbing documentary “14 Peaks: Nothing Is Impossible,” “The Christmas Chronicles 2” and “Love Hard,” which were seventh, ninth and 10th the previous week.

The eight-episode third season of “Lost in Space” was watched for 35.82 million hours in its first full week of release, 24.4% less than the 47.38 million the previous week when it was available for five days.

The first season of the science fiction series was third with 23.2 million hours watched of its 10 episodes, 10.9% more than the 20.92 million hours the previous week when it was fourth. Its second season was among three newcomers to the top 10, fifth with 15.24 million hours watched.

The other newcomers to the top 10 were the second season of “Titans” and “The Witcher.”

The 13-episode third season of “Titans” was second for the week with 26 million hours watched, all outside the United States. The DC superhero series streams on HBO Max in the United States.

“The Witcher” was sixth with 14.18 million hours watched of the eight episodes of the fantasy drama streaming television series released in 2019. Its eight-episode second season will be released Friday.

Dropping out of the top 10 were the eight-episode cooking competition “School of Chocolate”; the 10-episode science fiction series “Cowboy Bebop”; and the 10-episode third season of the psychological thriller “You” which were sixth, ninth and 10th the previous week.

The 10 most-watched English-language television programs on Netflix were the third season of “Lost in Space”; the third season of “Titans”; the first season of “Lost in Space”; the fourth season of “Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous”; the second season of “Lost in Space”; “The Witcher”; the first season of “Arcane”; “Maid”; “True Story”; and the fourth season of “Selling Sunset.”
