An injured hiker was airlifted to a hospital Saturday after he was stricken in a remote location of Griffith Park.
The hiker was located at 10:18 a.m. off near the 2800 block of East Observatory Road, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
The man was safely aboard an LAFD helicopter at 10:55 a.m. and flown to a hospital, Prange said.
The nature and extent of the man’s injuries were not available but he was unable to get himself to the trail or to his vehicle, Prange said.
