Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande were among the winners at Tuesday evening’s third annual Society of Composers & Lyricists Awards honoring songs and original scores for movies, television and interactive media.

Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell won for original outstanding song in a drama/documentary for “No Time to Die” from the James Bond film of the same name.

Diane Warren was nominated twice in the category, for “Somehow You Do” from “Four Good Days” and for “(Never Gonna) Tame You” from “The Mustangs: America’s Wild Horses,” while Jay-Z was among the team nominated for “Guns Go Bang” from “The Harder They Fall” and Rufus Wainwright was nominated for “Secret Sister from “Rebel Hearts.”

Grande was among the team that won for outstanding song for a musical or comedy for “Just Look Up” from “Don’t Look Up,” winning in a field that also included Lin-Manuel Miranda, nominated for “Home All Summer” from “In the Heights.”

The songwriting team for “Just Look Up” also consisted of Nicholas Brittell, Scott Mescudi and Taura Stinson.

Also nominated in the category were Jennifer Hudson, Jamie Hartman and Carole King for “Here I Am (Singing My Way Home)” from “Respect”; Amie Doherty for “Fearless” from “Spirit Untamed”; and Kris Bowers and Siedah Garrett for “Together All the Way” from “Dear White People.”

Germaine Franco won for outstanding original score for a studio film for the Disney animated musical “Encanto.” The other nominees were Hans Zimmer for the science fiction film “Dune”; Alexandre Desplat for “The French Dispatch”; Britell for “Don’t Look Up”; and Jonny Greenwood for “The Power of the Dog.”

Daniel Hart won for outstanding original score for an independent film for “The Green Knight.” Greenwood was also among the other nominees for his score for “Spencer.”

Also nominated are Kubilay Uner for “American Traitor: The Trial of Axis Sally,” Rachel Portman for “Julia” and Alberto Iglesias for “Parallel Mothers.”

During the show, composer Carter Burwell and filmmakers Joel & Ethan Coen received The Spirit of Collaboration Award, honoring their partnership on 17 films, including “Raising Arizona,” “The Big Lebowski” and “No Country for Old Men.”

Aloe Blacc hosted the ceremony at the Skirball Cultural Center which was originally planned for Feb. 1 but delayed due to surging COVID-19 cases.

The ceremony also included performances by Barlow & Bear, Judith Hill and Cory Pesaturo, as well as The Carter Burwell Ensemble.
