Oscar- and Emmy-nominated actor Paul Mescal; stage, screen and music legend Rita Moreno; and Oscar-winning writer/director Quentin Tarantino will the honorees at the fourth annual Academy Museum Gala, a star-studded fundraiser benefiting the museum, organizers announced Monday.

The Oct. 19 event raises funds to support exhibitions, educational programs, screenings and other activities of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

Mescal, who was nominated for an Emmy for his work in the miniseries “Normal People” and scored an Oscar nod for “Aftersun,” will receive the Vantage Award, which honors “an emerging artist or scholar who is helping to contextualize and challenge dominant narratives around cinema.”

Moreno, who has collected, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards during her distinguished career, will be presented with the Icon Award, celebrating her “significant global cultural impact.”

Tarantino, known for films including “Pulp Fiction,” “Reservoir Dogs” and “Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood,” will collect the Luminary Award, “given to an artist whose singular contributions have expanded the creative possibilities of cinema.”

“The Academy Museum Gala celebrates the power, global impact, and indelible importance of cinema, and I am thrilled we can gather for a fourth year and honor these three amazing artists — Rita Moreno, Quentin Tarantino, and Paul Mescal — whose groundbreaking achievements, filmmaking influence, and demonstrated versatility will continue to inspire generations of artists and filmmakers,” incoming Academy Museum Director and President Amy Homma said in a statement.

The gala will be co-chaired by Academy Museum Trustee, producer and philanthropist Dr. Eric Esrailian; Academy Award-nominated actress, producer, director, and activist Salma Hayek Pinault; Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman; Academy Museum Trustee and actress, director, producer, and activist Eva Longoria; and Academy Museum Founding Supporter, Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award winner, and actor, filmmaker and studio founder Tyler Perry.
