`Anora,’ `Dune’ Nominated for Eddie Awards

Film editors behind movies including “Conclave,” “Emilia Pérez,” “Anora” and “Dune: Part Two” were among those receiving nominations Wednesday for the 75th annual American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards.

“Conclave,” “Dune” and “Emilia Pérez” were nominated for best edited feature film, along with “Civil War” and “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” For comedy films, nominations went to “Anora,” “Challengers,” “A Real Pain,” “The Substance” and “Wicked.”

Competing for best edited animated film will be “Flow,” “Inside Out 2,” “Moana 2,” “Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl” and “The Wild Robot.”

The 75th annual ACE Eddie Awards will be presented Jan. 18 at UCLA’s Royce Hall. During the ceremony, filmmaker Jon M. Chu will be presented with the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award, which recognizes a filmmaker “who exemplifies distinguished achievement in the art and business of film.”
