Kevin Hart will host the 25th BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 9, organizers announced Tuesday.
The ceremony will air live on Black Entertainment Television. The venue has not officially been announced, but the show is typically held at the Peacock Theater at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles.
The main awards show will be preceded by BET Experience 2025, four days of “immersive fan-focused events” from June 5-8.
“Back like he never left! @KevinHart4real is hosting the #BETAwards for the second time! This year, it’s a black tie affair — 25 years of legendary moments, and we’re turning it all the way up. Expect the laughs, the surprises, the energy — and a night the culture will never forget. Let’s make history. Again,” organizers said in a post on X on Tuesday.
Hart also hosted the show in 2011.
The awards honor individuals who contribute to Black culture as writers, musicians, filmmakers, philanthropists and more.
