La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts Wednesday announced its 2026-27 season, featuring five productions including “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Dear Evan Hansen” and “Les Misérables.”

The lineup will open with “Little Shop of Horrors,” running Sept. 18 through Oct. 11. The musical is about a struggling florist who discovers a mysterious plant with a dangerous appetite that brings him fame and fortune.

The season will continue with “Dear Evan Hansen,” scheduled Oct. 30 through Nov. 22. The Tony Award-winning musical centers on a high school student navigating grief, identity and belonging.

In February, the theater will stage an adaptation of Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird,” running Feb. 5 through Feb. 28, focusing on racial injustice and moral courage in a small Southern town during the Great Depression.

“Hairspray” will follow April 2 through April 25, the upbeat musical set in 1960s Baltimore about a teenager who pursues her dream of dancing on a television show while challenging social norms.

The season will conclude with “Les Misérables,” running June 4 through June 27, the long-running musical set in 19th-century France that tells a sweeping story of redemption, justice and revolution.

Officials said subscriptions for the season are now available, with single tickets for the first three shows set to go on sale July 20 and tickets for the final two productions available beginning Oct. 12.
