Actor Javier Bardem will be honored with a hand and footprint ceremony Tuesday at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the TCL Chinese Theatre Forecourt, 6925 Hollywood Blvd.
Filmmakers Michael Mann and Denis Villeneuve are scheduled to participate in the ceremony honoring Bardem, whose credits include “No Country for Old Men,” “Skyfall,” “Dune,” “Being the Ricardos,” “Biutiful” and “Before Night Falls.”
Bardem won the Academy Award for best supporting actor for his portrayal of Anton Chigurh in the Coen brothers’ “No Country for Old Men” and has received Oscar nominations for “Being the Ricardos,” “Biutiful” and “Before Night Falls.”
His film credits also include “Vicky Cristina Barcelona,” “The Sea Inside,” “Dune: Part Two,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile.”
Bardem currently executive produces and stars in the upcoming Apple TV+ limited series “Cape Fear” alongside Amy Adams.
He recently starred in “F1: The Movie” alongside Brad Pitt and appeared in “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” earning Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for his portrayal of Jose Menendez.
Upcoming projects include “The Beloved,” which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and “Dune: Part Three,” scheduled for release Dec. 18, according to organizers.
“Beyond the screen, Bardem is an outspoken humanitarian, using his platform to advocate for human rights, environmental protection, and global peace,” organizers said in a statement. “A dedicated supporter of Greenpeace, he has campaigned to protect Antarctica and raise awareness around climate change.”
Organizers said Bardem was recognized for his advocacy with the 2025 United Nations Correspondents Association Global Citizen of the Year Award for his support of journalists and humanitarian efforts in Gaza.
