The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday to its lowest amount since Feb. 15, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.777.

The average price has decreased 66 times and been unchanged six times in the past 72 days, dropping 40.2 cents, including eight-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.4 cents less than one week ago, 10.4 cents lower than one month ago and 28.5 cents below what it was one year ago.

The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent today to $3.745, its lowest amount since Feb. 13, one day after decreasing seven-tenths of a cent.
