The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority said Friday it still needs volunteers to conduct the 2015 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count throughout L.A. County from Jan. 27 to Jan. 29.
Volunteers should register at TheyCountWillYou.org to be able to work on the survey in their own communities, an LAHSA statement said.
“The 2015 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count is a critical opportunity to gain information about the size and scope of the challenge we face to house community residents experiencing homelessness,” said LAHSA Executive Director Peter Lynn.
L.A.’s last homeless count found more than 39,000 men, women and children in 2013, the statement said.
