Happy weekend! Here are our top 10 fun weekend adventures for Dec. 16-18. Enjoy!

Dec. 16

Glow Sword Battle (family): Want to feel like a true Jedi? Pick a side – good or evil – and use a glowing sword to fight in the ultimate nocturnal showdown. You can register yourself here for $10. The battle begins at 8 p.m. at Pershing Square, 532 S. Olive St., Los Angeles.

Christmas Vacation (film): Come watch a screening of the holiday classic `Christmas Vacation.’ There is no entrance fee, but the purchase of a bottle of wine is suggested. You can RSVP here. The screening starts at 7:30 p.m. at Malibu Wines, 31740 Mulholland Hwy., Malibu.

Luminaria Stroll (fundraiser):  Take a stroll through luminaria-lined pathways and enjoy holiday music in the Fullerton Arboretum’s garden. Admission is $15 and all proceeds support plant conservation, environmental education programs, and the diverse gardens of the Arboretum. The stroll starts at 5 p.m. at 1900 Associated Road, Fullerton.

Dec. 17

The Shining (film): Come play in ballrooms, on balconies and in fountains as Cinespia recreates the Overlook Hotel for their annual holiday party. Stanley Kubrick’s ‘This Shining’ will be shown on the big screen during the party. You can get your tickets here for $24. The party starts at 7 p.m. at the Los Angeles Theatre, 615 S. Broadway, Los Angeles.

Merry Drinkmas (Nightlife): Enjoy complimentary alcoholic beverages and an all-you-can-eat snack bar. The event will feature a Swings concert as well. You can get your tickets here for $100. The party starts at 6:30 p.m. at Club Bound L.A., 682 Irolo St., Los Angeles.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (film): Come enjoy a screening of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at the Visionary Comics. The screening starts at 7:30 p.m. at 3257 Market St., Riverside.

Bead Craft & Play Shop (workshop): A half day crafting event will be held on Mala Beads. Each participant will create their own necklace with 108 beads or 4 bracelets and will be provided with their own Rasa Shala box for safe keeping. You can register yourself here. The workshop starts at 2 p.m. at The BeHive, 6427 W. Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles.

Dec. 18

Cocktails and Star Wars (film): Dying to see Rouge One? What better way to watch the new Star Wars film than to do it with cocktails. You can get your tickets here for $16.75. The film starts at 3 p.m. at ArcLight Cinemas Beach Cities, 831 S. Nash St., El Segundo.

Festival of Lights (fitness): Come hike Echo Mountain at night. Once you reach the top, you’ll get a gorgeous shot of the city all lit up. The hiking group will meet at 3 p.m. at 568 Mount Curve Ave, Altadena.

Wellness Clinic (health): Attend the Building Resilience Wellness Clinic for an intimate setting and smaller gathering for acupuncture and other wellness activities. The free clinic starts at 10 a.m. at  Mercado La Paloma, 3655 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles.
