It took firefighters nearly an hour Friday morning to extinguish a fire in a Koreatown shopping center.
The fire was first reported about 2:50 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Sixth Street, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze was contained to two units of the center, described as a karaoke club and a chicken restaurant, she said.
The fire extended into the attic and walls in those units, said Stewart.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
