Three men were questioned Saturday about a possible car-to-car shooting in the Newhall Pass area.

Deputies were informed at 8:10 p.m. Friday of a possible shooting following a crash between a Black Mercedes and another vehicle on the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway just north of the Golden State (5) Freeway, according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Three men in the black Mercedes were detained, Crowder said.

A gun was recovered inside the Mercedes, NBC4 reported.

The transition road from the southbound Antelope Valley Freeway to the southbound Golden State Freeway was shut down while deputies looked for evidence.

A description of the second vehicle, which fled the scene, was not available.
