A fire broke out in the attic of a San Fernando house Saturday, but was put out with no reports of injuries, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 4:07 p.m. at 757 North Harding Ave., and took 28 firefighters about 15 minutes to extinguish the flames, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Firefighters succeeded in isolating the flames to the attic, Prange said. ” The living space in the house was clear of smoke, and firefighters took measures to protect belongings below,” he said.
The residents were out of the house and no injuries were reported, he said.
