An apartment fire in East Hollywood was extinguished in about 13 minutes Tuesday evening with no injuries reported, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze at 1206 N. Kingsley Drive, near Fountain Avenue, was reported at 8:31 p.m., the department’s Brian Humphrey said.
The department sent 20 firefighters to the scene, Humphrey said.
The flames were contained to the patio and a portion of the interior of one unit on the second floor of a 10-unit apartment building, Humphrey said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Humphrey said.
