Fire Sunday damaged a vacant two-story apartment building in Hollywood.
Firefighters dispatched at 7:39 a.m. to 920 N. El Centro Ave. had the fire out within 19 minutes of their arrival, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“While remaining in a defensive mode, firefighters were able to quickly access the flames on the second floor and achieve a knockdown,” Stewart said.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
