Authorities Thursday afternoon battled a blaze in a vacant home in East Hollywood.
The fire in the one-story house in the 4800 block of West Lemon Grove Avenue, near North Normandie Avenue, was reported at 3:27 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Twenty firefighters battled the flames, extinguishing it in about 12 minutes, he said.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
