It took 42 firefighters 15 minutes Saturday evening to put out flames in an apartment building in the Westlake district of Los Angeles, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 7:15 p.m. at 812 South Westlake Avenue, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
Arriving firefighters saw flames coming from the top floor of the four-story building, Prange said.
The flames were out at 7:30 p.m., he said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause had yet to be determined.
