One person was killed Wednesday and two others were seriously injured when an SUV crashed into a restaurant in the Silver Lake area.
The rollover crash was reported about 10:35 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Silver Lake Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The vehicle apparently hit a tree before crashing into the front of the L&E Oyster Bar.
One person died at the scene, and two others — a woman in her 70s and a man in his 50s — were taken to a hospital in serious condition, the LAFD reported.
Information on the fatally injured person’s identity was not immediately known.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
