Firefighters quickly quelled a shed fire Saturday in the Mid-City community of Los Angeles.
Firefighters dispatched at 10:57 a.m. to 5078 W. Pico Blvd. had the fire out within 19 minutes of their arrival, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“A one-story row of commercials (buildings) was filled with smoke due (the) detached shed on fire in the rear,” Prange said. “Companies quickly extinguished the shed fire and conducted an extensive search of the commercial occupancies for any fire spread, but found none.”
The cause of the fire was under investigation. No injuries were reported.
