A 70-year-old man with dementia and went missing in Watts was located by his family, authorities said Monday.
Rodney Dwayne Bates disappeared June 30 not far from his home in the 1400 block of West 103rd Street, near Ted Watkins Memorial Park, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Bates, who has dementia and difficulty seeing, was found by his family last Tuesday, the sheriff’s department announced Monday afternoon. Further information was not released.
