Flames Monday damaged a vacant, single-story commercial building in the Adams-Normandie area of Los Angeles.
It was reported at 5:24 a.m. at 1421 West Adams Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
It took 43 firefighters 22 minutes to put out the flames, which were “primarily contained to the attic of the empty structure,” Stewart said.
No injuries were reported, she said. There was no immediate word on how the fire started.
