A fire damaged a commercial building Thursday in Lancaster, but no one was hurt.
The blaze was reported about 11:20 a.m. in the 700 block of West Avenue I, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters extinguished the flames in about an hour and 40 minutes, the fire department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
