A small earthquake rattled a section of Imperial County Monday morning.
The temblor struck with a magnitude of 3.1 at 6:33 a.m. at a depth of 3.7 miles , its epicenter 7.6 miles north of Westmorland, according to a computer-generated report from the U.S. Geological Survey.
