Fire damaged an auto repair shop in San Fernando Tuesday morning before firefighters extinguished the flames in just 16 minutes.
Crews arrived at 1601 Truman Ave., near Hubbard Street, at 5:07 a.m. and found light smoke coming from the 50-foot-by-50-foot building, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 26 firefighters made their way into the building and quickly extinguished the fire and a knockdown was called at 5:23 a.m., she said.
The address corresponds to AP Auto Repair.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
