A person was taken to a hospital in critical condition Thursday evening after being rescued from under a big rig on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway.
Rescue crews were dispatched at 6:20 p.m. to the freeway, near National Boulevard, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The person was “safely” freed and paramedics performed rapid treatment, Stewart said.
No one else was injured during the crash, which involved a tanker truck and semi truck.
