Authorities Wednesday identified a young man who was killed in a crash on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway.
The crash occurred about 5:50 p.m. Monday near the Arlington Avenue exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Cristobal Martinez, 21, died at the scene, the coroner’s office reported. HIs city of residence was not known.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
